Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have only been shooting for a month. The passion is there so I jumped in head first. I was lurking on this site for some weeks. I will now post some of my pictures so I can learn from my mistakes. I tend to post process to much and I admit that I have not fully learned how to properly use the editing software I use...which is a lot of them. i have to say i am a sucker for HDR. i will post a lot you obviously do not have to comment on them all. Go easy on me! its my first time! thank you all so much for helping me learn!

I'm new to all of this as well but I really like what you are doing. I'm no pro by any stretch of the imagination but I really like the bridge pic the best! Well done!

thanks! that one everyone i know loves. I blew it up to an 8x10 and gave it to my mother in law in a nice wooden frame for XMAS. She loved it. and it looked awesome!

I really like both of the bridges.

you will get more help if you just post one or two images.

i guess i didnt just wanna make a hundred threads of 1 to 2 pics. maybe people can just comment on overall body of work...or just pick and choose.

the ones with the kid are under expose

by that you mean to dark? i darkened the photos on purpose afterwards. for some reason i hate bright pictures. but yes i agree they are dark. i have a pet peeve that i need to break about dark pics.

You said "I tend to post process to much and I admit that I have not fully learned how to properly use the editing software I use...which is a lot of them."

Photography is mostly light records. I think all your photos lack lighting pizazz. Therefore I suggest that you play around with the lighting controls in the PP phase. Levels, brightness contrast etc. They show a good deal of compositional and framing inspiration. Also learn how to correct camera distortion in PP. The left vertical edges on the bridge tilt to the right for example while the right verticals don't so much.

Take #1 and undo the darkness. I think in the recovery there has to be an interesting shot.

i still have the RAW shots of all my photos. i thought that it just looked cool very dark. the regular image to me just looks like a shack on a hill lol. a lot of the pics i took over exposed, 0 exposed, and under exposed with the purpose of combining in photomatix for HDR

What? Have you been appointed the judge and jury? I think what you mean is that ann is unwilling to help

Sorry, but I'm going to agree with ann here. Too many pictures to C&C. At least he should have numbered them.

Generally I see some under exposed shots (kids) and I'm not a big fan of that type of HDR.
