Okay, wtf is with the new layout

Fuddy-duddy that I am, I'm happy having gone back to the default skin. No adverts. Fast loading and scrolling.

I do like the resizing capability. My 1440 by 900 notebook screen has a lot of real estate used up with the Safari window, title bars, etc, so anything more vertical than 700 gets resized. Saves me having to right click and open in new tab to see the image all at once.
