So what did you get on Black Friday?

I've never made a purchase specially on Black Friday before, only once when I went to the mall to see the chaos as a spectator sport.

Here we don't have Black Fridays, but coincidentally the departmental stores are on their annual sale!!!
I seldom make purchases, but I bought a few pairs of shoes (my current ones are in desperate need to be replaced). Your turn!

I got a nice relaxing day of taking pictures. Cost me $12 - stopped to grab something to eat. Very happy with that purchase.. lol

Refuse to spend so much as $1.00 and then I've made a list of retailers who forced their employees to work on Thanksgiving and will begin a boycott immediately.

Didn't plan or want to go out, but it was a nice day here in the mountains and dh desperately needed to take advantage of the last seasons sunshine and fix the breaks on my car. So while he picked up the essentials at the auto parts store, I went next door and found a pair of 1200 thread count sheets marked half off. I've been desperately needing a second pair Of bed sheets so I splurged.

Since the wife was working, I was asked to go buy a Shark Vacuum for $200 minus 20% off at BBB.

I spend time with my family in St. Louis. The "deals" aren't going anywhere. I hate crowds.

Went to a couple antique stores. Bought a Fujica SLR, Kodak Pony 828, and a Kodak Target Brownie Six-20. Also hit the Bay of E and got a Rolleiflex. Unfortunately, these aren't staying with us, but I will be restoring it to a degree before they find new homes. Got some work to do to get these all clean and as functional as possible.

I got to go to work just like any other stupid day. It was so great I did it again today.

We went and picked up a Microsoft surface since it was a good price. I like the fact that I can easily access my server with it

I took my kid to the museum and ate leftovers. Haven't been to a mall in years.

After work, I went and got upgrades to two iPhone 5s's and one new iPhone 5c, cases and chargers and a iPod touch and case. Got more of our small Christmas stuff too. Just about finished that part, which was nice because it wasn't that bad in the evening.

I got sand in my toes, sun in my eyes and a breeze in my hair at the beach... All weekend. Not going shopping except for food and, ok, some wine!
