Old Lens' + New Cam

Hey, I just got a Sony a200 and I was on the phone with my dad and he has 2 lenses from back when he had a SLR (not a DSLR) The camera I believe was an Olympus.

Anyway, the two lens brands are Olympus and Dokina (Or Tokina something like that)

Would they work with my camera?

If the mounts are the same then maybe. I never had an Olympus, I was a Pentax user when I shot film.

Yeah there's 900ish miles between my dad and I right now so I can't test it

He might go to BB or something and ask if it works with mine. So hopefully!

You might hit up the Sony site and, see if they have a lense compatability chart.

I'm pretty sure that the Sony uses the Minolta mount ... you can use many old Minolta lenses ... but don't think your olympus mount will work.
