This old fixture in Little Rock, AR was in the classic movie "Gone With the Wind."

Thanks. It is a pretty place. It is the feature in a smallish park. I do not live there, and was only there for a short time in April, so I had to take what was given me. I agree the early/late lighting would be interesting.

Hmmm. I figured it was because it was totally blown out and an attempt was made to recover data that just wasn't there.

You could be right..it looks to me like a weird curves adjustment.

The white flowers exhibit much of the same dull gray as well.

Well, let's check the exif data:

Perhaps that explains the ~8-stop over-exposure.

The entire image looks muddy, like it was recovered in Post processing due to being blown out. Would have been a gorgeous shot, has you captured better lighting.

To me it looks like the entire photo is kind of gray, in my opinion it looks like it was some bad processing...
