This was shot in the middle of a parking lot. I had a smoke machine to create a screen but didn't turn out well as the smoke dissipated too quickly, plus the machine didn't produce that much smoke. lol

How was this lit ? The quality of light actually looks decent, though a little underexposed. To bring out the fog, I might have tried to blast an off-cam light at it from behind, rolling it off or even providing a little backlighting for the subject(s).

For that particular picture, I didn't want to bring out the fog much. Here's one that has I put a gelled flash behind her but don't really like the lighting or the pose much...

You know which minor thing bothers me about the second shot? (Since I can't really say anything much about lighting and blocking backgrounds and all that...)
It's the fact that she doesn't seem to fit into the kind of bra (bikini top?) she's wearing. I keep looking there (and maybe I'm supposed to do just that? But I'm an elderly female... :scratch, as I find that little aspect really distracting.
