worst of all the end of the cigar is missing or cropped so close to make it fit verticle that it appears to be missing... there should be some space at the end of it.

I thought you were talking about the first one. For this one, yeah, a vertical might work, but not as it is. Either horizontal or a more creative vertical crop. I was using it as an example of "chop a needed part" you mentioned and why it's a bad idea.
