On the Belt?

Okay, I am going to be attending a Piping Event in May, and I am one of the pipers, but I want to be able to carry my camera around with me when I am piping, wearing it around my neck is not an option... any suggestions? I won't have any free hands as it takes 2 hands to play the pipes. I don't wanna leave my camera anywhere for fear it might get stolen.. would I be better off to buy a P&S camera? It isn't like I will be doing major photography

just tossing out an idea one arm through the strap and then over your head then it should hang at the side

A small backpack would allow to take the camera and a bit of kit.

lol bagpiping (playing the bagpipes) and well they are big, so both hands and my entire left arm are taken up

Good suggestion, but surely wouldn't work if it were me. Not much room for a camera there....
