On the Heath

[Lorrilia]

Went for a walk on the heath with hubby yesterday and what a lovely walk it was.

Wall butterfly

Cinnabar moth caterpillars. These will turn out like the moth below

Dragonfly

Number four for me............

I love dragonflies but I think I am actually favoring the moth.

Good colour set of images, liking both the Cinnabar shots.

You may want to switch to manual focus for shooting subjects like butterflies and the like, while in the middle of other foliage as the autofocus on a camera is going to pick the nearest object to lock onto, not necessarily what you want.

Never thought using manual focus. Will give it ago ta

Looks like a very productive walk, thanks for sharing.

That was a lovely walk. Caught the Marsh harrier too. But they didn't come out well. Well not good enough for me.
