I really like it, Robin, and I'm sure they will, too. If I had to nitpick, I'd toss out maybe a reflector would have thrown up just a bit more light on the woman's face, to ease the shadows a bit - but it's certainly nice light for a parking garage. Nice work. :thumbup:

Honestly, I'm generally not the biggest fan of photos in which you can tell that a man-made light source was used on the subject(s) while there is noticeable ambient light. That is, if the added stobe is so subtle you can't tell it was added, great, but otherwise it too often clashes with the ambient to me. That being said, I honestly liked the lighting here even before you said it was only the parking garage's own lights and not any additional strobes. Great, great find on the location, with that lighting able to illuminate them nicely from head to two, and great job on the timing, getting the nice balance between garage and outside lighting.

I really like the composition of this - never mind the couple, the location has such great geometric appeal. I think you played on that really well with the pose, keeping him very straight and square to the camera while letting her, as a nice counterpoint, curve and fold into him. The only nitpick I have is that his forehead is a bit distractingly bright. Not saying it's blown, even on my crappy work monitor I don't think it is, but a slight burn might bring the attention a bit more to his eyes and her face.

I pretty much like it.

The light is nice, but not.. "credible" let's say. That doesn't mean that I think you're a liar, that means that my instincts don't feel like the light is "right" somehow. It feels like a streetlamp, and the overall flavor of the shot is a streetlamp photo, but it looks like you're on a the Bay Bridge or (evidently) in a parking lot.

I'm gonna guess they're standing under a big halogen light that's pointing straight down? And maybe they're farther away from the curb in the background than they look? I think the light's too close to them to make be "believe" it, somehow. It seems to have fallen off a lot by the time it hits the ground. I think it would be better with a little more leftover sunlight, to balance this. The same shot from 5 minutes earlier, maybe.

This was shot in a parking garage with low ceiling. It has long fluorescent light every few feet.

Security guard kicked us out after 5 min . Anyway.... This set is going to be epic. Best engagement photo set I have done. Will post the set in a few days.
