Your stalk does not go undetected, the buck's tail flags, he hesitates ever so briefly and flashes one last look over his shoulder, his eyes focus intently upon you for what seems like an eternity. Your rifle comes up as he takes the wall in one swift bound and you take one last look. He is gone.
