Here's a couple of pic I took yesterday from a mini nature parc in Quebec.
The first one I wondered if it look too centered (the rule of 3)

The second one, the building is supposed the center point of the pic(subject)
not the animals, as they are looking away.

Anyway give your valued opinion, it help me to go to bed at the end of the day
a little smarter with each critic.

No offense, but they look like snap shots. The composition is just not there.

The second one looks a tad underexposed as well. It's a challenge to photograph snow.

Hang tight though!

Take a thorough look at the composition articles on www.photoinf.com.
You need to chose a subject, centre in on it visually and exclude a busy background, if it does not relate to your subject.

Technically, when shooting in snow, you need to overexpose a little or your subject...such as the animals will be too dark in comparison with the white snow.

1: In my opinion if you would have rotated to the left of the camera and gotten the sky, rather than the tree, behind it would have looked much better.

2: If the building was the subject I guess I would have liked to have seen it at a little wider angle to incorporate more of the building, or at least compose it a little farther to the left so that the entire roofline of the "hump" on the left was in the frame. As well as the under exposure already mentioned

Allright thanks, back to the drawing board. I'll do some reading about compo
,and no offence taken
