Did you set your focus to AF Servo for this shot? I am trying to master the panning technique and I am having some trouble locking focus onto a moving subject.

I did have to saturate the colors with the Canon software that is all I use.

There was not much to look at above the car. No stands on that side of the track or at least that far down. I was at the top of the stands shooting down but will keep that in mind when I go to Indy.

AI Servo but if you have a IS lens you need to turn that off or to mode 2.
