One of my photos is a featured photo this week

Over at ViewBug, one of my photos is displayed on the front page all week this week. There are three other photogs being featured as well. I realize its most likely an unknown website, but still, it was cool to wake up this morning and find out the good news.

hey, i saw it. pretty cool. its always good to get a little feature. I had a few of my photos featured by a local paper called houston press. no money, but its still pretty cool.

@DiskoJoe - I live in a pretty small town. There is one major photog for the local newspaper. I've submitted quite a few photos and none of them get published. He will publish other photos as I have seen that happen quite a bit and in fact, my father had one of his photos published a few years back. I'm thinking since I'm a local up-and-coming photographer, he may be feeling a little defensive? And not publishing my photos because of that? Perhaps I should submit a photo under an assumed name?

Absolutely do that. Submit one under your dad's name!
