One picture for C&C

I shot this picture with a Nikon N6006, 35-80mm, @ f/8. Not sure of the shutter speed because it was aperture priority. I tried using line, color, and lighting (I purposefully took this picture when the sun was beginning to set) to create a good composition.

I'm not much of a critique, but personally I feel that compositionally it would be nicer if the trees had an equal amount of space inbetween, it's slightly distracting.

Tend to agree, it looks slightly unbalanced. You couldn't have moved one of the trees could you

I think as a background, it looks great, but to me, it lacks a subject.

Not at all. It can be used later as a background if you want to do it in Photoshop, or you now know a good spot that would lend itself well to some great portraits.

There is nothing wrong with the picture. There just really isn't anything to grab and hold a viewers attention. Sharpness looks good, contrast looks good, colors look fine, but in the end, it's a photo of some trees and a fence.

The biggest thing missing is a foreground element. Take a look at your favorite landscape or nature photos. There will almost always be a foreground element and a background element.

Not too bad. If you would have been in the street more and looked at the trees lined up instead of the angle you took it at, it would have been a lot better. Just my opinion
