Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello
This is my first first proper post. Was wondering if I can get my work critiqued. I am self taught and always looking to improve.
Comments (good or bad) welcomed :)

The first two do absolutely nothing for me, the horizon is pretty well right in the middle and there is really very little to tell me what they are all about, except "piers", maybe they would be better in colour. The third one is quite nice - I like it, it's sharp, but I am not sure what the "conversion" is - sepia?? black and white?? - not obvious, regardless, I would like to see a colour version. Not all images look good in black and white, or sepia, because B&W is about light and contrast, not colour (obviously) and this last image is really just shades of gray.

Cheers,

I like Number One. I'd darken the foreground (the sea) though. Probably in a graduated way, using a mask...or Burn it in.

those 3 images are great ! my favorite one is number 3, it looks sharp and the color just makes it more perfect. keep up the good work

Thanks. I'm still trying to work out what style I want to work in. I'm struggling with the concept of exposure and apertures at the moment. Is there a set rule for this?

Learn the basics of photographic lighting.

A good place to start and keep handy as reference is Light Science and Magic, Fourth Edition: An Introduction to Photographic Lighting

I would crop each of the first 2 top and bottom to make them more panoramic, eliminate some of the non-productive negative space, and give the main subjects more image scale.

Buy choosing - My Photos Are NOT OK to Edit - others can describe, but not illustrate to you what editing possibilities beyond what you have posted might look like.
