Mike S's post of Pathos Lighthouse reminded me I had an image from the San Juan's (Lime Kiln Lighthouse) of three whales, one of them a baby. I've only seen this sight once before. This image was shot with a 70-200 2.8 with a 1.7 tele-extender and even then, they were a bit far out.

I wonder if this is more of a nature shot than a landscape shot as the main subject are the orcas. It's a nice photo however. Too bad it wasn't a little closer but I do like how you used the water as a framing mechanism.

That is about what we saw yesterday. I should invest in the teleconverter as that is much better than I was able to get.
