Mixing the chemicals to manufacture 100% silicone caulking. Not the most exciting thing, but it makes for some interesting photos.

Industrial is great, you are lucky to have a scenario like that.

Do the strip lights add or subtract from the photo? As they line up and nearly touch with the 'brown things'.

Could you take it again from higher up so the lights can visually touch or get closer to the brown things? And keep it so they are both fully bright white? Might look rubbish but might make it more abstract.

That's an interesting thought! Behind where I was standing there is another mixer with a platform around it and a mezzanine above it. I could probably get that shot from up there. I did originally crop out the lights when I first put it in lightroom. I liked it, but I felt like it made it a bit too dark for me. I like how it's a dark, industrial setting, yet it still has highlights. No idea if that's a thing haha.

I was having too much fun when I was shooting these. I don't go back into the production area often. I hired a film company (Tivoli Films) to produce a video "plant tour" of the facility. So I was taking photos all day while he had his really nice lighting set up.

I believe so! I guess I should finally accept the fact that the people laying on the concrete floor behind me haven't been just sleeping for the past 2 months.

It's messy having Dalek security.
