Our new pet.

It's a Dove and She or He is very sweet and friendly. My Kids really adore it and has a soft beak and does not bite at all. It just started to Coo softly the past couple days. We take it out of the cage for about an hour a day to stretch and walk around and no not on the table,this was just to capture it by window light. It will take small flights but land quickly,it don't fly around the house like parakeets or finches so its easy to get back to return to the cage.My middle son named it Dova. I have two Zebra finches in there own cage but I can't take them out for photo shoots.There like On crank all day until they sleep.

What a sweetie! We had a cockatiel when I was a kid. Hand fed it as a baby, and watched him grow! He would walk around our table during dinner eating off our plates. Good memories!

I'd love another one, but DH isn't a fan of birds.

She's gorgeous! I miss having birds. Had two parakeets I got in college. I loved having them fly around the house.
