Caution please do not view if you do not like over the top photos that are not photos anymore but graphic images!!

This is a picture I took of a door way and a window. I wanted to give this photo that old ceramic cracked tile look.

The color hits me like a truck. I love the composition and the color, but I'd really like to see what it looks like with the saturation and the contrast/detail a bit lower. Could you try that and post it?

When I did this I had a certain vision in mind. The mexican tiles with that cracked glaze overlay. Mexican tile can be very vibrant and rich thus why
I kept it that way in the photo.

BUT, just for you!!

I like them both. Don't know which I like better.

Well, for me it is clear: the idea was to represent a Mexican ceramic tile, and given THAT idea, the saturated version is the only one that works. As he claims it is "over the top" even in the title to this thread, nothing's wrong with colours hitting the viewer "like a truck". This "over the top" goes perfectly well with the intense colours! I'd certainly sell as a card, I am sure!

I like both versions, although if super saturated was what you're going for, I would stick with the first one. This definitely looks like something you might see as one of those canvas prints for sale at Target, or on a card-it definitely has commercial appeal.

The first picture is actually pretty good. The composition feels just a wee bit too tight on the bottom however...still...a very well-envisioned "concept" photo. The desaturated image is terrible...it's utterly "wrong" for the concept. Darned good job on this shot.
