Well, after playing with a 25mm extension tube for the better part of a year now, I've decided I like macros, but I'd really like to give it a go with a "real" macro lens, so I ordered a refurb'ed Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro tonight -- on sale for $408. I can't wait to give it a try. I the meantime, here's one of the extension tube shots -- this was a Canon 15-85mm USM lens with the 25mm tube, shot at 85mm.
