Thanks for the comment core. I know what you are saying about the tree silhouette. I was trying something different with this silhouette. Instead of the usual silhouette with strong light behind it, I wanted a darker version with the light being more of the focal point. I don't know if I succeeded, but I just like experimenting. ;)
 
the colors, duke, the COLORS!!

that's a lot more blue than i would expect from a scene like that. wow

there's been so many good sunset pics here lately :D
 
Nice one, Harpper! :D I don't care much for the border, though - just my personal preference. What I do like is this tree's personality - he really stands out against this pretty sky. I'd love to find such a great specimen in this kind of setting around here. Take advantage and shoot him often, all times of the year. This is great! :D

No problem terri. Thanks for letting me know how you feel about it. I've been getting used to framing my pictures on my wall so it felt weird that my internet pictures didn't have a border/frame. My picture felt kind of naked without one. :wink:
