Hi, I have just bought a panasonic DMC-G3K 14-42mm and I am wondering if I can take photos without using a lens. I have found the setting 'shoot without lens' but when I try to take a photo the screen is blank. Could you please advise whether photos can be taken without the use of a lens? many thanks

With no lens on or in front of the camera there is no way to focus the scene you want to shoot.

The "shoot without a lens" option is for using lenses that arent recognized by the camera, such as through an adapter.

If you actually shoot without a lens, every pixel will get all light that shines on it from all directions. Thus there will be no picture at all.
