I bought my camera bag at Wal-mart on the 5th and I have already outgrown it. :D

Unfortunately it was the biggest one they had so I'm going to have to go online to get one.

There are a ton of them out there and I was hoping you guys could help me narrow the field. It has to be at least big enough to hold my camera and 3-4 lenses as well as a flash (don't have one yet but it shouldn't be long) and my various accessories. I'd like something that doesn't scream "I'm full of expensive camera gear, steal me!" I was thinking of a bag that looks like a normal backpack but is compartmentalized for camera gear.

Any suggestions?

i have a lowerpro 350 pro runner backpack and a sling 102 and they are really nice
They are really well built, quality material, zippers. They have a water proof cover integrated to the bag, ALOT of small pockets and tripod/mono pod straps and bottom holder that works really well, i love them and would buy them over again. They are a bit expensive though

I keep my lens and camera and all the other stuff in the 350 and keep my 4 speedlight triggers and some other stuff in the 102.
I use my 102 alot more on field trips, vacation and in other situation where i only need a small amount of gear. the onyl problem with the 102 is that it hold a 70-200 mounted on camera and thats whitout the hood. There a small pocket on the top where i fit a small lens but thats it.

Browse around the Lowepro website. They have a lot of different styles and you might find something you like (their "bag finder" is kinda helpful). I have the CompuDaypack (to carry my camera and my laptop with accessories for both) and I love it (though I'm going to outgrow it the next time I buy a new lens or flash ).

If you are on a tight budget have a look at Amazon's own camera backpacks. I generally use my smaller Think Tank bag so didn't want an expensive backpack which I thought I would rarely use - I have used the Amazon one quite a few times though, holds lots of stuff and has stood up well to being lugged about! It probably won't last as long as the more expensive ones (time will tell!) but, depends on how much you want to spend I guess :)

I have the AmazonBasics slr bag. I outgrew mine also and I think for 35 bucks, it was WELL worth the money

I will sell you this for $100 + shipping...;)

My Bag

Only the bag, of course...

I also have 2 other smaller Tamrac Bags if you are interested... PM me if so and I will send you some pics!
