Can others edit my Photos

Can anyone tip me off to some things I should try or pay attention to? I know I will be doing 360's all day taking photos of the crowd and the parade both, but anything that is specific to parades? Setting tips? Lowest ISO i'm guessing? It's in the broad daylight all day so I should have plenty of natural light.

I'll be using my kit lenses for this, they are listed below in my signature.

I have not done this but would think you should have the each entire float in the shot along with some closer shots of the float riders. Same with the bands, parade marshalls etc.
Some random close ups of the crowds but the float shots should also give some awesome shots of the crowds along the route. Try to get to an advantage point that is away from the crowd, either more into the street and create interesting angles from below or above. Take a few down the line shots to show the full parade.
Use lowest iso and higher shutter speed maybe around 250 to 500 because of the movement. I would also use a smaller aperature around f11 to f16 or so to capture crowd along side the float. Use your meter for more specific measurements. Now thats assuming its a bright day full of sunshine.

Walk the route a day or two beforehand at approximately event time; pay attention to the shadows and other things that might be problematic. Choose spots with non-disruptive backgrounds for your shoots, and if you can, have friends "hold" them for you, and contact the organizers for a "map" of the parade so that you know who is where. I would probably set my camera in shutter-priority, 1/250, Auto WB, and [Canon's equivalent of] continuous servo AF.

+1 for good advice.
