Wow, Jason, soooo many beautiful shots from your Antarctica trip in that gallery!!! Some faves include:

West Point (with the sailboat in front of the house)
The soaring Albatros at sunset
The Caracara (I think that's what it is)
The Rockhopper with its chick
The church at Grytviken (several gorgeous shots)
The rusting whaling ships at Grytviken
And of course too many penguin shots to list individually

I hope you post more shots here, as people may be too lazy to go check out the link

The buidlings on the spit of land are part of an Chilean Antarctic research station and aslo home to 50000 pairs of Gentoo Penguins. Here is a slightly different view

Yeah the thing about most picture i see of antartica and other cold climates is there's some times not a reference point for scale so you never really know how amazing some of these formations are.

That last pic is also a good illustration of the movement of a glacier down the hill to the water's edge, where huge pieces can break off to form icebergs. [The 'bergs in that photo are not particularly large, though]
