Path less taken

The path less taken is often harder and up hill, that's why it is often not used, but will lead you to a higher place.

One of my favourite poems is The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost (hence my signature)... and I love photos of interesting trails and paths that are symbolic of that concept. Those are some cool stairs!

Um...did someone say Robert Frost...?!! What a freaky coincidence! A few days ago I visited his farm in Derry (at least I think it was in Derry)...and got some photos!!! I just moved to NH a couple weeks ago (after 10 yrs in Northern CA)...back to my home, back to my family. I have been slacking, but was gonna put together a RF thread...I swear!!! Reason is....I am actually Robert Frost reincarnate!! Don't blow my cover

I've loved him since I was a kid!!! Had to memorize Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening in 4th grade...next thing I know I'm in Kosovo in the usmc with a Frost book in my pack!

The photos were just snapshots cuz I was in a hurry...but I'll let u know when I throw them up!!! I'm sure you always wondered what robert frosts bathroom looked like!

Oh ya....sweeeeet photo. The tropical plants don't exactly make me think of Frost...but I love this image !!!!

I like to write, and I find my style of poetry is often written in verses like Frosts'. His way of describing, and melodic style makes me melt.

That must have been such a cool experience!

Everything you said .... me too man!! You inspired me to get on it...so I'm workin on them now. There's nothing too spectacular...just a neat tour of his farm. Wicked warm feeling to think hat HE sat in this yard and looked at THOSE trees...and that is HIS stone wall! I have a shot of "Birches" from his backyard!! Oh man this is cool.

Wow I feel very honored to have inspired this in you Charlie , oops I mean Mr Frost! Lol, I am quite happy to also meet fellow Frost fans. Thank you very much for you kind words about my work also, I look forward to seeing you postings.

Seakritter, you have some extremely nice light at play in this image. Also an excellent leading line with the stairs. The photo itself is washed out a bit and some of the finer points are lost in the processing. I'd like to see a color version of this shot too.

I did process it down some in the color ver there is a sun flare that is pretty strong, which I was trying to capture, I tried to tone it down some in the B&W but wanted some of it to come though. I'm posting it here.
