PC Suggestions

I've been building my own PC's for years. It's not for everyone, but in recent years the compatibility and UI's have gotten much, much easier. You can get much more bang for your buck building your own PC, assuming you're looking at a desktop.

I recently switched from Intel to AMD for my processor and am very happy. AMD's new CPU's are beating Intel in most categories and are, in some cases, still half the price. I'm currently using:

-AMD Ryzen 3800x 8 core CPU
-Asus Tuf X570 motherboard
-32Gb of 3600Mghz GSkill Trident RAM (2x16Gb)
-1Tb Samsung Evo 970 SSD for primary drive
-4Tb Western Digital Black as my secondary drive.
drive.
-I recycled my GPU from my past build - Nvidia GTX960 4Gb. It's plenty for PS and LR

I went to this from an Intel i7 quad core and 16Gb of RAM. The improvement was night and day.

Building your own is worth it, just make sure you research the components thoroughly for compatibility before you buy!
