I did this with manual focus. I think the eye focus looks much better than most of my other photos. Do you? Yes, I used flash, but it was a moment I wanted to capture and I didn't have time to change the lighting situation in my kitchen if I wanted to get it.

((BTW, later, taking pictures of my son in the tub (for practice) I asked my husband to bring me a rubberband, the high watt lightbulb, and a sheet of typing paper. He brought it to me and said, "Here ya go, MacGuyver. Anything else?" LOL))

Haha very cute picture! Softer light would have been nicer but like you said, what you had at the time is what you used and you captured what you were going for well :thumbup:
