you need a DSLR. The DSLR should be capable of handling a lens such as this:

Quite clearly you've never used a rangefinder or camera like the Olympus PEN before. The whole point is that the lens makes the camera and the PEN has interchangeable lenses, very good ones at that with the list that is only going to grow. There's nothing on that list that NEEDS a DSLR.
