I recently bought a Pentax 6x7 with the TTL prism. T
he shutter speed dial rotates smoothly without clicking at the different shutter speeds. I thought this was just a characteristic of this older camera but apparently not?
The speeds also get progressively further from the markings as well. Like, if I want to shoot at 1/250, I have to turn it between 1/250 and 1/125. If it's off, the mirror will cock up and it will ruin the frame.
Does anyone know what might be the issue? Everything else about the camera works fine, and the shutter speeds are accurate once you learn where to turn the dial. It's just these two things.
Is there anywhere I could send it?
