Me? No. I have no illussions about my work and know it can only get better when viewed by a critical eye. Which is why I allow my photos to be edited. I see no use in posting a photo to be critiqued when at the same time not allowing anyone to work on it. The OP wanted us to be completely floored by his post and post nothing but "ooohs" and "ahs." He can post on SOA Photo if that is all he want.

When I first started here, my status was also set to no edit on my photos. It wasn't because I wanted people to admire my master pieces but more like I wasn't sure what edit means. So I went with the safest route then changed after I figured out exactly what it means.

Here is my Edit CanadyKen1

Just so you know, I remove all edits within one week from my smugmug. Here is what I did, I cropped, I ran an unsharpen mask, then added a vignette by creating a new transparent layer, using the gradient tool, then changing the layer to an overlay. Youtube is littered with tutorials on how to do it if you are interested. My biggest piece of advice is to focus on the eyes... No matter what, if they are in focus, you can usually work with the image afterward... Anyway, welcome, and best of luck here. Hopefully you're not too offended by the idiot who offered you ZERO critique other than the fact that he thought it stunk... Oh and by the way, Bitter always gives good advice... So when he talks, listen... Anyway, hope this helps and welcome to the site...
