Perfect Layers 2 Plug-in ??

I found this software just now. Apparently it's not out yet because you have to pre-order for $69.95. I'm wondering if it would be worth investing in as ALL I have for editing is LR3, and this Plug-In brings the Layers option in for LR users. Just wondering if anyone has used the first one? Or if not, some of you more experienced in editing software, do you think this would be beneficial?
