Maholy Nagy had painted on both sides of the board, so the work was presented so you could see both sides.
I loved the shadows. BTW, the Nagy show is now at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and I think it is marvelous. Also huge - I'll be going back at least two more times.

Great perspective, creating all those angles in the different materials and shadows. Good textures.

I have seen that installation before but it wasn't in LA, it's driving me crazy. Man, my memory is shot all to heck.
