Perspective question.

While I was out shooting yesterday, we shot some wonderful old buildings. When I was editing this one, I couldn't decide if the perspective is right or if I need to adjust it. Shot with a 28-135mm kit lens.

I thought it was down slightly at the left and adjusted accordingly. It also looks like it's leaning slightly backwards (not sure what the correct term is) but this doesn't bother me as much. Nice shot.

Thanks Fred. It is the backwards tilt that I am talking about. I straightened the building a couple of times (vertical and horizontal) before deciding on which looked best on that. I decided to level horizontally..

Thanks John. I'll go back in to straighten that part. I just can decide if the leaning is bothering me or not.

You could eliminate the lean with several PS controls (perspective, skew, etc.) but it would look "off" because it's clearly shot from below so if there were no converging lines it would look unnatural. Slight perspective corrections are fine, but "correcting" this type of shot just doesn't work, imo. It shows the building as one would see it from the street.
