I am not really that comfortable with B&W but thought I would give one a try.

It's a pretty scene, and I think you found a great vantage point to shoot from. You might want to have a play with lightening the middle right of this image - it's coming across pretty blocked up. Just a tad more detail would liven up your frame. Love your backlit foreground, though. The sun rays are awesome!

I agree with the above statement. It's hard to make out details in the center. Looks like it would be a great place to shoot.

Thanks for he feedback guys. With B&W I am never sure how "black" to make the blacks so to speak. Anyway I have redone it with more detail in the center.

I like the second one much better. This vantage point & time of day might be a good subject for HDR as well.

That was first time up there so next time I will try a few different things. Just for reference this is a colour, well probably more yellow,version from the same spot.
