Philadelphia Time Lapse project

Amazing man, I've always wanted to try something like this, but never knew where to begin.

Care to share some of your secrets? How do you pan/time lapse and zoom/timelapse? The day to night images were spectacular, auto exposure are you manually doing everything?

I liked the music too - who was that?

Well some of it was done in post production on final cut pro x, but I used an emotimo TB3 time lapse controller for the panning ones. For the day into night ones I used aperture priority.

That was a really cool video! I'm toying with time lapse myself but, nothing to this extent. Still trying to figure out how to add audio to my videos. I am using quicktime pro simply because people made it sound like it was simple to use. Anyway, that was really inspirational and awe inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

4.2 minutes of sheer enjoyment!!! Outstanding quality; the music merges with watching like clouds would merge and flow in the sky.... The change of location, the change of time, the change of lighting...everything is outstanding about it!!!!!
If anybody saw this with intermittent interruptions, please run it once again to see it in a single go :D

How far apart did you time your photographs? I am really interested in Time Lapse Photography. Did you use a Intervalometer? Or does that Emotimo device take care of controlling the shots also? Give me some tips if you don't mind. I don't even know where to start to be make the photos run together good into a video like this. I have a lot of skills with video editing and all the jazz. Thanks in advance!

Awesome job Sean! That is a labor of love! I am not sure I have the patience for all that, but definitely an inspiration!
