phone camera hardware

G'day folks.
I am designing some machinery for work that requires a very, very small camera to be mounted inside. Something like a camera from a smart phone would be ideal, but I can't seem to find what I am after, no doubt I am using the wrong terminology in my searches.
I have looked on ebay for small cameras, but can't really find anything small/flat enough for my needs. Looking at my phone, I am thinking that the camera looks about right.
Can anyone suggest what I should be looking for when I search products.

The focal length would only need to be around 15cm (6") and would be a fixed distance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Relax. I tried a very different approach and found what I am after. Thanks anyway.
Instead of looking for cameras (various descriptions), I tried "smartphone parts" and I got the result I was after.
