Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Spent quite a bit of time looking at backpacks/bags online and in stores, decided a backpack would best fit my needs. What I've sen locally just will not work, an online purchase seems the best option. Perhaps someone who carries a similar amount of equipment can point me in the right direction.

Nikon D7000 w/ grip and a 70-300mm (6") lens attached
18-105mm lens
40mm lens
SB-700 Flash
Canon Vixia HFG10 camcorder + wide angle adapter
Manfrotto 294 full size tripod w/ an 804 three-way head
extra batteries and chargers for both cameras and the flash

It's not a lot of gear (IMO), but finding a backpack that will accommodate the camera w/ grip and the tripod seems to be the problem.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

ps I've also been searching and reading through old post with little success.

pss I carry an 18" Walkstool as well, three legged stool collapses to 15".

I have many packs. One would not do for me. I tailor my pack to the system i'm using.

As JC said, ThinkTank make some of the best. When the gear load is too much I use a rollabout.

I'll take a look, thank you.

ThinkTank Streetwalker HD

Looked at the ThinkTank site, read the reviews I could find and ended up ordering the Streetwalker HD. I don't have need of a laptop compartment (don't have a laptop, tablet, pad or a mobile phone for that matter), but had concerns the Pro model might not be large enough. I truly appreciate your input.

Thanks again,

Anthony

It seems odd to carry a grip in a backpack.
a grip adds battery life and a portrait hold - what's the benefit in packing that around?

Most of the time when I'm out shooting, the camera is on a Joby camera sling, what I've been looking for is a soft bag or backpack that all gear will fit in. The last time I bought carry gear for a camera... Minolta MAXXUM 7000 was brand new, I went with a pelican hard case for two bodies and eight lenses. Shooting wildlife more than anything I use a lot of battery power, what is really more important to me than the extended shoot time, without the grip, my ring and little finger are wrapped under the camera body, a pro body looks like a toy in my hands.
