Photo editing for MacBook Air...

Does anyone use the built-in photo editing on their MacBook Air? Does it "get the job done"? Would it be able to produce "professional quality" images? Any thoughts or tips you can share regarding this would be appreciated. Thanks!

I use a MacBook Air for almost all of my photo editing so yes, it's do-able. The "Photos" software that comes with it is adequate for editing (ie: basic adjustments and that's about it). I use Affinity Photo on my MacAir for most of my serious editing (ie: anything beyond cropping or adding light).

The MacAir is really more of a word processing machine. It doesn't handle big files or big programs well. I often get delays when I'm trying to process a lot of files (either upload or edit, whether I'm using AP or something else). A MacBoo, Pro is going to have a better quality screen and more processing power.
