Photography + T-shirts

I don't like photos or heavy graphics on my t-shirts. The printing is always thick and heavy and doesn't "breathe" and makes my boobs feel hot, trapped, and uncomfortable.

The most fun will be shooting pics of the models wearing them for you

The biggest reason Designer won't wear them.
Yeah, not going to catch me in most of the ones with sayings on them outside my house. Not going to catch the ones with photographs on them in my rag bag. That is TACK in the worst way. And I have seen some really beautiful images totally ruined by being put on a T.

But on the flip side of that... There could be a dollar store market for that!

What would you put on them then? What kind of photographs?
NONE! see Jaemie's boob post for further reason. Although the extremely high level of TRASHY is plenty enough reason.

Yes, Tyler, as a matter of fact. Thank you.

My girlfriend is the same way. I have a great appreciation for good design. :-)

Like the design on one my 3 year old grandson has - a camera with a strap around the neck. Yes his dad (my son) is a photographer too!

Well, that depends on the way you make them! I don't like that either actually, I'd use a different technique!

I have yet to see anything printed on a T that doesn't require ink and something heavy that changes the feel of the cotton. Even my kids' Aero and Hollister T's that are light and easy still have that plastic crap that is the image. But... if you know something I haven't seen, go for it!

Which just brings us back to the high level of trashy.

I'm imagining some amazing process that changes the colour of the cotton fibers at the molecular level. Or "nano" ink that actually makes the cotton softer and more breathable! And yet, as MLeeK reminds, there's that trash factor...

 You're funny! Sorry to disappoint you, I'm not a scientist though..
By the way the "thick ones" are made by printing inks using a computer onto a special piece of paper. Then a heat press to adhere the ink and paper onto the cloth.. Which is exactly why they are thick!
DTG is a different story!
