Photoshop and Camera Raw question

I'm a long time LR user and am still wrapping my head around PS. Something I don't understand is how to "get back" to previous adjustments in Camera Raw. Here's what I mean...I have an image open in PS. I select Filter | Camera Raw filter and make some adjustments. Click OK and now I'm back in PS. Then say I decide that I need to adjust one of the adjustments so I go back to Filter | Camera Raw filter and all of the sliders are zero'd out. Of course the image still contains the previous adjustments but those adjustments aren't reflected in the sliders. So is there any way to open the image back up in Camera Raw and see the slider values from the last time I edited the image in Camera Raw?

If you combine the Camera Raw filter with the Smart Filter feature (by selecting a layer in the Layers panel and choosing Filter > Convert For Smart Filters), you can achieve this nondestructive benefit on any layer in any Photoshop file.

Then you can readjust the Camera Raw filter settings in the layer.
