Photoshop cannot open this file: what the hell

I spent some time editing file in PS. I saved in the usual way and now I can't open it again. I get this message.

Is this a glitch or is it Adobe lashing back

I have to agree...need more info! What file format did you save in, can you open the original file, what's your computer set up, etc., etc.. Short of more info, it's been my experience that when Photoshop can't open a file, regardless of format, chances are the file is simply corrupt. Various culprits can range from a virus to a bad hard drive or even a bad USB connection depending on how and where the file was saved. In the case of Macs, your files can even become corrupt if you copy them to a flash drive and don't eject the drive properly (never save to a flash drive directly!)...Macs are far more prone to this than PC's are.

Again, we really need more info here to help figure out what's going on.
