Photoshop CS2 question

I have a novice question about finding something on CS2. I have done the photo retoughing with B&W prints from film where the picture is B&W and the rose for example is in color. What is the name of that effect exactly and where can I find it in photoshop CS2? Thanks for the help guys and I know this is a basic question, but I just can't find that effect because I don't know what it is called.

It isn't an "effect". It's something done by hand, either by using a layer mask or a variety of other techniques. Search for "selective color" and you'll find tons of threads on it.
