It's amazing what Photoshop can do.

even before photoshop , you would be amazed what could be done.

A good question is, at what point is it the photographers responsibility to only let editors take a photograph so far?

I'll have to watch this again...but can anyone tell me what tools they are using when the make a rectangle selection and then distort it? (when they select the cheek line and make her look thinner). I've tried a few things but it doesn't work as easily...maybe I'm missing something. :scratch:

Try making a selection using the marquee tool, then hit Ctrl & T and distort away

I've played around and I think my problem was that I wasn't really careful with the selection and I needed to feather the selection.:banghead:

A good question is, at what point is it the photographers responsibility to only let editors take a photograph so far?

When he's given creative control over the project, or if it's his project in general.
If he's contracted to simply take the photos to be used in a bigger project (such as an advertisement), then the TD has creative control and the photographer is just one step in the production phase.

At least that's how it's been as far as things I've done.
