Thanks everyone. There was a lot of haze in the air. This is a pretty common scene at the Oregon coast on some stretches.

You have to be at just the right angle to the sun for the rays to be visible. It is exciting light to photograph.

Thanks. This was a 2 shot blend for dynamic range. Manual focus on the foremost edge of the table. F/8 because of good lens performance at that aperture (10-22mm) and for dof.
