What would be the best way to shoot pictures in very low light? I want to go out at night and be able to take pics of people under street lighting.

I have a canon ftb (c. 1975) with a 50mm 1.8-16 lens and a zoom 70-210mm 4.5-22 lens lens. I also have a Minolta Maxxum 9000 (c. 1985) with a 50mm 1.4-22 lens. I have flashes but I would like to use natural lighting, I dislike the affect the flash gives.

u may want to post this in the general forum....this is kinda for established 'how to' guides. you'll get more exposure in the general forum.

marco, we need a hella lot of more info.

- color?
- b&w?
- if b&w, chromo?
- if traditional b&w, do u dev urself?
- will u be attempting to stop motion?
- what ambient light will u have?
