Couple pictures I took in the freezing Minnesota weather this afternoon. C&C is welcomed!

#1 - Could use more contrast...has a very gray feel to it instead of B&W. Don't care for the composition...very busy on the right side. Is the main subject the birdhouse, the tree trunk or the building in the background?

#2 - Dead center is deadly. Centering a subject in the frame makes the picture static and boring. It's exposed well and I like the shadows.

i think the first one could deffinately use a little contrast and maybe reshoot using f5.6 and focus on the star of the bird house
