I'll visit this tread again when I get to my other computer/monitor, on this one I'm not sure about the processing and that's unusual because I always like your bw

hmm. brick texture. two Ls facing opposite directions and upside. purposeful tilt on the frame so they oppose but symmetrical, even if they are different objcects. Then the shadow of the brick makes another upside down L, the pipe yet another with its shadow. Am I missing anything else?

seems pretty good to me. Not amazing or anything but a decent shot just because you noticed!

I like the interplay between angles and that there is some texture.

I like it, but I think it would be better without the pipe in the picture. Seriously.

I can see timor's point - the picture then becomes about texture and angles. But I like the additional element added by the pipe: more texture and angles, plus shadow. The three elements working together are what make this picture a fun little mind clusterjam - is it straight? No, it's slanted. Oh wait, no, it's straight. But what is straight and what is truly slanted? It's a bit unsettling, but in a good way.

yeah it truly isn't his best work, but I am just happy he was gracious to post something for us as those Boston people think they are better than the rest of us.
