It's been a cold wet spring, last week they were finally able to get in the fields to start planting. We're close to a month behind schedule, but fortunately if the weather cooperates, they can catch up in a few days.

This farm is in the bootheel of MO, and under pivot irrigation so we could've pushed it to the first week of May but I'm glad we didn't have to. I was surprised at how cold the ground still was a couple inches down.

We had a wet, cold spring, that delayed planting at least 2-3 weeks. The good news is it's already up with a good stand.
